The Andrew Nursery
In April 2008 Tilden Project Nepal is to open a new nursery in Aruchour, based on a specific request from the TPN Committee in the village. The new nursery will be in Ward 9 of the village and situated at Buddha School which is a predominantly lower-caste school.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Oundle Rotary Club, we have been able to fund the essential building work, prepare and equip a playground, complete the interior of a newly built room and provide basic toys etc.
The new nursery will be called The Andrew Nursery in memory of Andrew Pemberton who was tragically killed in a car accident in January 2008. The Pemberton family are supporters of Tilden Project Nepal.
Building work on the Andrew Nursery started in March 2008
